Domenico Sirico is an Interventional Paediatric and ACHD Cardiologist currently working in the Paediatric Cardiology Unit of the University Hospital of Padua, Italy. He graduated at Federico II University in Naples (Italy), then he trained in Cardiology at the Bicocca University, Milan (Italy). Afterwards he worked as clinical and interventional fellow in Paediatric Cardiology at the Royal Brompton Hospital, London (UK). Since 2020 he moved back to his home country and is living and working in Padua.
He is the junior councillor of the AEPC Interventional working group, and board member of the ACHD group of the Italian National Association of Hospital Cardiologist Physicians (ANMCO).
His main clinical and scientific interests are interventional cardiology, advanced echocardiography (3D echo, STE), heart failure.
He is among the 3 winners of the 2023 Young Investigator Exchange Program (YIEP) between AEPC and the Japanese Society of Paediatric Cardiology & Cardiac Surgery (JSPCCS).
