Sofi Andersson Stavridis is a children's nurse specialist with more than 30 years of experience in pediatric care, especially in working with children and young people with congenital heart disease. Sofi has always been interested in the development of nursing care and since 1996 she has had various clinical leadership roles. Sofi is currently the Head Nursing Manager at the Children's Heart Center at Queen Silvia Children's Hospital, Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg. The Children's Heart Center in Gothenburg has the assignment of National Specialised Medical Care regarding Heart surgery in children and adolescents and provides an advanced pediatric cardiology care. On a daily basis Sofi works with transformational leadership to enhance the nursing staff's conditions to provide high-quality nursing care.
