I am a pediatric cardiologist with special interest in pediatric sudden cardiac death, inheritable arrhythmia syndromes, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and cardiac rhythm devices. My scientific and clinicaI motivation are to contribute to a reduction in the contribution of (aborted) sudden cardiac death to pediatric mortality and morbidity;
including stimulation of a healthy lifestyle and limitation of the burden of prevention for the pediatric population at risk for sudden cardiac death. I live in the port-city Rotterdam together with my husband and three kids.
